I recently stepped up my drone game with the Flywoo Robo 1002 23,500Kv Micro Motor, and I have to say, it’s been a game changer. As an avid FPV enthusiast, I’ve tried multiple motors over the years; however, this little powerhouse has impressed me in more ways than I anticipated.
First off, the build quality is outstanding – it feels solid yet surprisingly lightweight, making it perfect for my mini racing rig. I appreciate the attention to detail that Flywoo has put into the design, from the smooth finish to the precise winding – it screams quality.
When it comes to performance, the 23,500Kv rating does not disappoint. The thrust-to-weight ratio is phenomenal, and I noticed it delivers remarkably quick acceleration and sharp responsiveness. Whether I’m zooming through a tight course or pulling off some high-speed maneuvers, the Robo 1002 provides ample power without compromising stability. What really blew me away was the fade resistance – the drop in performance during extended flights is negligible, compared to other motors at comparable price points I’ve experienced.
What really stood out for me, though, is the sound. The motor hums with a pleasant tone, and it's much quieter than I expected, offering a more enjoyable flying experience, especially in hushed parks. Another added bonus – the efficiency is impressive! I’ve managed to increase my flight times significantly thanks to how smoothly these motors run.
Installation was a breeze, fitting perfectly into my setup without any fuss. It’s clear that Flywoo has designed the Robo 1002 with the end user in mind, making it accessible even for less experienced builders.
The only minor drawback? The price is a touch higher than some budget options, but in this case, you really do get what you pay for. I wholeheartedly believe that the performance enhancements and reliability make it worth every penny.
Overall, the Flywoo Robo 1002 23,500Kv Micro Motor has elevated my flight experience to a new level! I can’t recommend it enough for anyone serious about FPV racing or high-performance builds. If you’re considering an upgrade, don't hesitate – this is a fantastic choice that will not let you down!
I bought this to pair with a 1s VTX on a Pavo20 (o3 is too heavy) to fly in my backyard at night. This camera goes to .00001 lux and beats the heck out of the O3 trying to fly at night. Like Walksnail says, any camera works with any VTX.
I don’t race and I’m not a high speed maniac. I’m working to refine my flying skills and this prop is perfect. Proximity flying looks rad and I’ve never been comfortable. These are durable, and provide the right amount of bite that I need with the style of flying I’m going for. I absolutely love them. After an afternoon of concrete and metal bashing, zero props exploded.
I currently have these motors on a 5” frame with Ethix props. These are much faster than the typical 1800kv motors I normally use and provide that quick response for fast movements! I’ll definitely purchase more of these.
I used this with the QUADMULA SIREN R5 HD and the FIVE33 Lightswitch V2 So I could use the DJI 03 unit mounted to the top plate.
Quality, good looking prop nuts. Nylon helps keep props tight after a crash. Reasonably priced so why not make your build look good.
