One of the weakest points on a Lexan body is where the body mounts to the chassis. The holes cut in the body for the body posts have a tendency to crack & fracture. This is the reason RPM designed these cool body savers. With their ideal two piece design, it allows one piece to slide through the bottom of the body while the second piece snaps into place from the top of the body. These body savers stay right where you put them, on the body, so you never have to worry about chasing them around! Improve the life of your body significantly with a set of these Body Saver Washers installed!
These body savers fit 1/4″ or 6mm dia. body posts such as those found on the Traxxas Slash, Traxxas Slayer, Losi 1/10th scale vehicles and most sedan 6mm. body posts. Molded in black nylon or a dyeable white, these Snap-Tite Body Saver Washers will match or contrast any paint scheme you create! Sold in sets of five body savers in each package. That’s four for the body posts and one for either the antenna hole or a transponder mount.
Tech Notes: RPM Body Savers work with most bodies with a maximum body thickness of .04″ (1 mm.) in an untextured area of the body. They will not work in area of texture such as truck beds where the thickness at the body mount varies.
