Last year I invented 4mm wide RGB COB LED strips, and this year I'm making them better! We've redesigned the circuits to and now I've got 3 options for voltages:
6S 3-4S 5v
They come in 1/2 Meter, 1 Meter, and 5 Meter segments
Does your Project run a flight controller like Betaflight, or would you rather have a BT/Wifi controller that you can use your phone to control them!
I worked with Tiny's LED's to develop the addressable chips for driving the LED's with BetaFlight. The addressable chip allows BetaFlight to control the color of the LED's so you can change the color with a switch or a knob or even setup the full rainbow.
Betaflight can command even more colors, with hundreds of variations, hitting every color in the spectrum.
Magic Home App on your phone will allow you to pick any color, preset patterns, custom build your own patterns, make the lights dance to the music, and more!
The addressable LED controllers will let Betaflight do the heavy lifting, or a BT/WiFi controller let's your phone control the party. Without a driver chip you loose control... you could direct wire it to one of 7 color combos by enabling Green, Red, Blue, or any combination of the 3.
Want multiple color zones at the same time? Light up each of your 4 arms independently! How about turn signals?
BetaFlight supports a daisy chain of up to 32 of the addressable chips. Tiny'sLED's also make 4n1 addressable chips that will mount on 30x30 or 20x20 stacks, so you can have 4 independent zones on one quad!
The BT/WiFi are great for Skateboards, bikes, onewheel, cars, trucks, rv's, studios, kites, wings, and a whole lot more! Send me pics + vids of the crazy things you're making with them!
These strips come pre wired with 4 wires, vbat+ and R- G- and B-
Warning: BLACK and RED are not GND and POS!
Black is Vbat (6S, 3-4S, or 5v)
Red is GND for Red
Green is GND for Green
Blue is GND for Blue
I've also got standalone controllers that work with an IR remote or BlueTooth/Wifi controlled with an app on your cell phone (Download: Magic Home from your app store). so you can setup your own custom patterns, gradual, pulsing, or strobes, or tune the lights to music or your microphone or even match visualizations with your camera. These stand alone chips can be decased and soldered up so they are reliable, waterproofable, and weigh in at less than 10 grams with a single strip.

Here's a tutorial on making a Rainbow Effect with BetaFlight and OpenTX/EdgeTX/FreedomTX
6S RGB Strip Voltage Range is 17.5-25.2v
(red and green actually produce light down at 15v, but blue wont light until 17v)
Draws 0.2amps at 25.2v and 0.02amps at 17v.
Single Chip can handle 1.5amps per color (roughly 5 strips in parallel)
4n1 Chip can handle 2amps per color, per channel, (roughly 5 strips x 4 channels)
WiFi/BlueTooth controller can handle 4amps per color (5 Meters)
3-4S RGB Voltage + consumption test results(coming soon)
5V RGB Voltages + consumption test results (coming soon)
These can be cut and joined every 3.3cm. Look closely and you'll see little black cutlines on the top side.
BT/WiFi Chip Input Range 5-25.2v
