Product Description
Improve the look and handling of your NB48 2.0 buggy with carbon fiber shock towers! Not only do these shock towers look great, but they can also improve bump handling and grip by being slightly more compliant than aluminum. When using front and rear carbon towers, the weight of the vehicle is reduced by 50 grams. This helps to slightly lower the center of gravity and increase corner speed. At 5mm thick they are strong and easily withstand all but the most extreme race incidents. This tower is a direct replacement for the stock aluminum tower (TKR9269S) and no additional parts are necessary.

Pro-Tip
Extend the life of your carbon fiber towers by running a bead of super glue (tire glue) around the edges of the tower to help seal and bond the layers.

Durability
If you’re a beginner or new to racing, please keep in mind that carbon fiber shock towers are not as strong as the stock aluminum.
